Awesome game if you like realistic gameplay. It can be hard, you are not a hero and will lose when the enemy is in groups, even with highest gear. But i love the atmosphere of the game. I mostly sit in the tavern at night and play dices against guards xD

I absolutely loved it on my first playthrough. I felt a sense of accomplishment as hours upon hours of sparring with the trainer turned me into a skilled fighter. Defensively at first, but as your strength stat improves it becomes easy to overpower enemies when blades are locked, giving you freedom to attack them at will. As your agility improves, it becomes easier to dodge attacks and these things combined make for great fun and a capability to completely humiliate your foes. I don't agree with people who say the combat system is bland and the trick is just to parry. Sure, you can parry your way through it and it won't give you any joy, but completely dominating your opponents through superior skill is hugely satisfying, especially after all that training. The story was nice, a bit linear and low replayability, but quite well written in general. The map is absolutely stunning, amazing attention to detail, exploring the area on google maps shows how accurate they have been.

combat is badly balanced, i can win any fight with 1 finger with parry. parry is all it is about combat which promotes DEFENSIVE FIGHTS. dont attack youll get parried, parry their attack yourself, thing is if opponent didnt attack well... the combat will never end
